Lock Decoder

This utility will give you the solution of 16-bars puzzles. Click the "-" and "+" signs to set the mission number and level number, and then use the keyboard to enter the clipboard ID. The solution will instantly be provided. Remember to substract 1 from the level number since the first planet is actually level 0.

This application was developed using the reversed engineering done by Laurent de Soras back in 2002. He was generous enough to make the C source code available under the GNU license and it can be found here: http://ldesoras.free.fr/prod.html

Map Generator

This DOS program was written by Anthony Taglione at the same time he was converting the code to work on the PC. It recreates the entire map of a level. It is not obvious to understand at first, but a legend is available in the application to explain the many icons displayed on the screen.

SuperCC

Working along with Steem 3.2 (not SSE), this application will 'connect' to the memory of Steem to look at the activity of Captive. It will display the current map in realtime, see the status of all encounters, allow you to modify the droids, give solutions to puzzles, do basic map editing, and more. Just start Steem with Captive, and then run SuperCC. The latest version is 2.11.

Note 1: Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 redistributables are required. You can download them here.
Note 2: The emulated Atari in Steem must be set to use 1mb.

Captive God

Another fine tool provided by Laurent de Soras. It displays a map similar to SuperCC and displays the complete solution on how to walk from your current location to a selected location on the map. Just click on the desired location and follow the instructions!
